Fitness Formula Temporarily Closes All Locations Amid COVID-19 Outbreak

CHICAGO, IL – As we continue to navigate through the unique challenges posed by COVID-19, I’d like to share an update on how Fitness Formula Clubs is responding. The safety and health of the FFC Community, members and staff alike, is our number one priority. As you are aware, we have been taking additional proactive steps for the last several days.
In further effort to safeguard our members, staff and their families, we have decided to temporarily suspend services at all FFC locations. At this time, none of our staff have tested positive for COVID-19.
Given that this situation is complex and evolving, it is our intention to re-engage services at the clubs as soon as we can. Please expect the facilities and services to be unavailable at least until March 31, 2020. We will be monitoring this ever evolving landscape so that we can be prepared to reopen our clubs once it is appropriate to do so.
During this time period above, while all services are temporarily suspended, we will continue to perform deep cleaning and preparing the clubs for re-opening. FFC staff will continue to be paid during the above stated time period, inclusive of service providers. All member services with expirations, FFC Bucks (including the Earn Your Enrollment Fee back program), and sessions will be extended accordingly.
Effective immediately, we will no longer be placing memberships on hold/freeze. All lost time during the FFC temporary shutdown will be credited to your membership account when the clubs reopen.

On a positive note: as fate would have it, we created FFC On Demand at the end of 2019. All members will have complimentary access to this platform (available both online and through the app), effective immediately, during this temporary shutdown period. FFC On Demand hosts a robust offer of group fitness classes featuring your favorite FFC instructors, workouts featuring your favorite FFC trainers, nutrition tips, tricks and meal plans, unlimited messaging with a nutrition specialist, and lifestyle modification including stress release and mindfulness practices.
