EXOS Athletes Shine at 2019 NFL Combine

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – EXOS athletes wrapped up another successful NFL combine. After eight weeks of preparation and hard work, they demonstrated their strength, power and speed at this year’s events.

Between 103 athletes, they secured 22 position No.1 performances, set five position records (three of them tied) and had four overall No. 1 performances. Juan Thornhill, S, Virginia, dominated the vertical jump and the broad jump while Taylor Rapp, S, Washington, took No. 1 overall in the 60-yard shuttle.

Iosua Opeta, OL, Weber State, had the No.1 overall bench press performance with 39 reps, while Dexter Lawrence, DL, Clemson, finished strong with 36 reps. D.K. Metcalf, WR, Ole Miss, set a position record with 27 reps.

Ben Banogu, EDGE, Texas Christian, jumped 11 feet 2 inches, setting a position record for broad jump. Parris Campbell, Ohio State, turned heads as the fastest wide receiver in the 40-yard dash with a time of 4.31 seconds. Montez Sweat, DE, Mississippi State, and Devin White, LB, LSU, were also No. 1 performers for their positions with times of 4.41 seconds and 4.42 seconds respectively.
