LOS ANGELES, CA – Equinox, the high-performance lifestyle leader, opened Miracle Mile, its 17th club in the greater Los Angeles area, located in the Wilshire Courtyard complex. Just a few blocks from LACMA, this new club combines Equinox’s unparalleled service with the distinctive culture and community found along one of Los Angeles’ most iconic corridors.
“Equinox Miracle Mile is opening at a pivotal moment in the historic district’s evolution,” said John Klein, SVP of Real Estate for Equinox. “The club will unite a diverse group, from residents to those who work in the area, providing a hub for regeneration, fitness and community.”
A true escape from busy Wilshire Boulevard, members are greeted with premium finishes including waterfall fountains and a dramatic glass portal featuring 19′ ceilings. The space is flooded with natural light, with a palate of soft whites, cool gray, and golden hues complementing rich textural patterns throughout.
“The goal in the design of Miracle Mile was to bring unique neighborhood accents and energy to the signature Equinox aesthetic,” said Aaron Richter, Senior Vice President of Design for Equinox. “We wanted to create a cutting-edge space that encourages and inspires members, but also aimed to provide a special place for this community to flourish.”
Members of Equinox Miracle Mile will experience a spacious strength floor, innovative group fitness programming and top-tier personal training. With four dedicated fitness studios—Pilates, Cycling, Group Fitness, and a Yoga Studio with Hot Yoga—the space will appeal to members with a range of fitness interests and goals. Expert Equinox instructors will lead a variety of innovative Equinox classes, including THE CUT: Jump Rope, a supercharged jump-rope and cardio kick-boxing class that keeps you on your toes, and Anthem, a music-filled indoor cycling journey featuring coach-curated tracks.
A true lifestyle experience, members will also have access to The Spa at Equinox, offering high-performance services to regenerate, The Shop, offering a selection of chic performance apparel, a Kids Club for child care, as well as Earthbar, serving an organic selection of cold-pressed juices, smoothies, salads, and more.
