NEW YORK, N.Y. – Equinox, a high performance lifestyle leader, announced the opening of Equinox Dumbo, its second club in Brooklyn and 82nd club globally. Dumbo has flourished over the past decade as a community for families, technology startups and artists, making Equinox Dumbo a much needed high-performance haven within this diverse community. Located in the former cardboard box factory of Robert Gair Company, the 23,000 square-foot club mixes aesthetics from Dumbo’s historic warehouses and artist enclaves to produce a distinctive space Equinox’s signature program and unparalleled services.

In addition to the main group fitness studio, Equinox Dumbo features two additional group fitness spaces, including a cycling studio equipped to offer The Pursuit by Equinox, an immersive and highly competitive cycling class, and a Pilates studio.
Acclaimed Equinox group fitness instructors will lead a full range of yoga, cycling and innovative group fitness class offerings, such as The Cut, a cardio-forward boxing class set to the beat of the music, The Pursuit by Equinox, MetCon3 and various yoga classes.
Equinox Dumbo’s fitness floor harnesses the power of open space to promote free-form training multi-joint movement that mirrors our three-dimensional, real – life bodies. Members can work out on their own, or with one of Equinox’s highly skilled personal trainers.
Beyond the fitness floor lies The Spa @Equinox, featuring a menu of offerings to rejuvenate and pamper the body – from deep tissue massages, post-workout sports massages to a full range of facials and body treatments.
