NEW YORK, N.Y. – Crunch, the health club chain best known for making serious fitness fun through unique programming and cutting-edge training, announces the opening of two of its newest franchise locations in Long Beach and Cerritos, California. Having opened for workouts earlier this year, Crunch Long Beach and Crunch Cerritos bring their ‘No Judgments’ philosophies and fusion of fitness meets entertainment to their diverse surrounding communities.

Located in the recently renovated Bixby Knolls strip mall near Trader Joe’s, Crunch Long Beach can be accessed with parking in both the main lot and the structure just north of the club. Similarly, the new 24-hour health club in Cerritos is a cornerstone in Del Amo Plaza and occupies the space formerly inhabited by LA Fitness on the busy intersection of Del Amo Blvd. and Pioneer Blvd. With over $1.5 million in renovations, 150+ pieces of state-of-the-art cardio and strength training equipment, tanning, HydroMassage beds, full-service locker rooms complete with showers and changing rooms, and functional training areas with indoor turf, residents of all fitness levels and needs will find exciting and challenging workouts.

With membership options including guest privileges and access to all Essential locations, members of both clubs can have access to the entire network of Crunch Franchise gyms, including the gym in nearby Lakewood.

Known for innovative group fitness programming, Crunch Long Beach and Crunch Cerritos will offer full rosters of classes including BodyWeb with TRX, Zumba, Cardio Tai Box, Yoga Body Sculpt, Fat Burning Pilates and more in their dedicated group fitness studios.

Those looking for guidance at the gym can join CAMP CRUNCH, an exclusive program that gives members the opportunity to work one-on-one with an expert trainer. Trainers develop personalized plans to help members meet their individual fitness goals through signature small group training, cutting-edge personal training and unique nutrition programs.

Operating close to 20 Crunch clubs to date, Owner David Harman brings years of customer service and fitness industry experience to Long Beach with General Manager Joe Moto, and to Cerritos with General Manager Ray Chung. “We’re excited to bring this brand to the area and provide a fun health club option for residents. With memberships starting at just $9.95 a month, we love having the ability to give members more value for less money – a rarity in this industry and many others. We pride ourselves on maintaining a friendly, judgment-free experience for all of our members,” Harman said.

In addition to the South Bay, Harman’s team is growing their footprint in the San Fernando Valley, Inland Empire, San Gabriel Valley, and throughout the Western and Mid-Western United States.
