PLEASANTON, CA – Leisure Sports announced that its family of fitness clubs –ClubSport, Renaissance ClubSport, The Studio, and The Quad– raised over $20,000 by hosting specialty classes and events in benefit of the Navy SEAL Foundation. The funds were awarded to Navy SEAL Ambassador Mark Kendall on Monday, July 13, at ClubSport Pleasanton.

“We were very moved by the outpouring of community support from our club members for the Navy SEAL Foundation,” said Ralph Rajs, Executive Vice President of Operations at Leisure Sports.

The Navy SEAL Foundation serves a fundamental role within the Naval Special Warfare community. It provides tragedy assistance for families who have lost a loved one in training or combat through family events and support to uphold morale and camaraderie; education assistance and scholarships for active-duty personnel, their spouses, and children; and preservation of the rich history and heritage of these elite warriors to ensure their contributions are always remembered, recognized, and documented for future generations.

“We are very excited to have Leisure Sports clubs as sponsors,” said Kendall. “They have respectfully honored our cause and helped us generate awareness. I was delighted to see how club members reacted to the Navy SEAL memorial wall and displays which were on loan at ClubSport Pleasanton. I saw club members stop to read the plaques and talk to their children about the SEALS. It was very moving.”
