PLEASANTON, CA – Leisure Sports announced that its family of fitness clubs –ClubSport, Renaissance ClubSport and The Studio– raised a grand total of $22,354 in benefit of the Navy SEAL Foundation, exceeding last year’s fundraising efforts by over $2,000. Navy SEAL Foundation ambassador Mark Kendall graciously accepted the funds on behalf of the organization.

“Leisure Sports and its club members have once again shown heartfelt support for the men, women, and families of Naval Special Warfare,” said Kendall. “The Navy SEAL Foundation is honored to be selected for this program and we are proud that so many of [the ClubSport, Renaissance ClubSport, and The Studio] members will work out wearing the t-shirts that show their patriotism and support for the Navy SEAL Foundation.”

Each year, Leisure Sports selects a charitable organization to support and hosts a variety of activities to raise funds. This is the second consecutive year that Leisure Sports selected the Navy SEAL Foundation as their charity of choice. Fundraising efforts were boosted by the ClubSport Pleasanton community, which raised over $14,000 through the sale of Navy SEAL-inspired t-shirts and a sports memorabilia silent auction.

“Over the last two years, Leisure Sports has contributed more than $40,000 to the Navy SEAL Foundation,” said Brianna Thornton, Leisure Sports Programming Director. “We are very proud to contribute to such a noble organization that supports the men and women who have served our country, as well as their families.”
