GREENVILLE, S.C. – 9Round Franchising, LLC was announced as #14 on the 2019 S.C. Fastest Growing Companies List. In the 18 years since the prestigious ranking began, 9Round is one of just four companies to be named to the list four years in a row.
“As a brand born and bred in Greenville, having a recurring presence since 2016 on this statewide ranking alongside so many impressive brands is both an honor and a privilege,” said Shannon Hudson, Founder and CEO of 9Round. “While 9Round’s presence has expanded to nearly 800 locations worldwide to-date, South Carolina is still our home, and I’m proud that our growth has been able to positively benefit the state.”
9Round, along with the 24 other companies that made this year’s SC Fastest Growing Companies List, was honored on Oct. 22 at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center in Columbia, S.C. 9Round co-founders Shannon (CEO) and Heather (COO) Hudson attended the event to accept recognition for the ranking on behalf of the brand.
“In addition to hiring people and paying taxes, people who build small businesses often become leaders in their communities; they have a vested interest in their local community’s success because it is often interconnected with their company’s ability to grow and prosper,” said South Carolina State Treasurer Curtis Loftis during the event. “I congratulate these South Carolina companies being honored today for the positive impact they are having on our state and wish them continued growth and success in the future.”
Since 2001, the S.C. Fastest Growing Companies List has acknowledged top-performing private and publicly owned companies in South Carolina. The list was founded as a way to honor the state’s most dynamic businesses and their contributions to the economy.
