PHOENIX, AZ – Seventy-nine EXOS-supported players were selected in the 2018 NFL draft, making up 31% of the total selections. This includes 15 first-round picks, five selections in the top 10, 10 of the top 15, and a record nine players selected first at their position. EXOS has now supported 165 first-round and 838 total draft picks.

The first EXOS-supported athlete selected was Denzel Ward, CB, Ohio State, drafted No. 4 overall by the Cleveland Browns. “My former teammate Marshon Lattimore (2017 No. 11 overall pick) trained at EXOS and spoke highly of it, and I trusted him with my decision to come here,” said Ward. “I’ve definitely been enjoying it and training alongside other top players who make it a competitive environment.”

Five EXOS-supported players were selected in the top 10, including No. 4 Denzel Ward, CB, Cleveland Browns, No. 5 Bradley Chubb, DE, Denver Broncos, No. 6 Quenton Nelson, OG, Indianapolis Colts, No. 8 Roquan Smith, LB, Chicago Bears, and No. 9 Mike McGlinchey, OT, Notre Dame. All five were also the first athlete drafted at their position.

“EXOS is proud to support 15 athletes selected in the first round and 79 selected overall in this year’s draft,” said Trent Wilfinger, senior vice president of pro/elite sports. “We were honored to support these athletes throughout the draft process and look forward to continuing that support at the next level.”

During their combine and pro day preparations, athletes experienced daily strength, power, and speed training, along with personalized nutrition, physical therapy, and recovery services, position-specific work, and mindset training. They also participated in combine-specific preparations for team interviews and the Wonderlic test.

“It was great to see all these athletes committed every day to our combine preparation program to dominate the NFL combine and their pro days, and, ultimately, improve their draft stock,” said Adam Farrand, vice president of pro/elite sports.
