GREENVILLE, S.C. – 9Round Franchising, LLC, recently finalized an agreement for future franchise development in the Latin American countries of Colombia and Panama. The master franchise agreement details plans to develop 36 new 9Round locations between the two countries over the course of the next six years.

“The market for boxing is strong in Latin America, so expansion into Colombia and Panama is a great next move for the 9Round brand,” said Shannon Hudson, Founder and CEO of 9Round. “We are entering these new countries under the leadership of proven operator Isaac Kably, 9Round’s current license holder in Mexico. I am confident that the experience Isaac and his team brings to Colombia and Panama will only enhance our development capabilities in this new territory.”

As 9Round’s sole master franchisee in Mexico, Kably currently oversees operations of 37 open studios with plans to open 63 more in Mexico alone. While exact development plans for Colombia and Panama are still in the works, Kably aims to open the new territory’s first 9Round studio by the end of 2019.

“Since I signed my first master franchise agreement with 9Round in 2014, my desire to continue spreading the brand’s ‘stronger in 30 minutes’ mission across Latin America has grown,” said Kably. “In my experience with bringing 9Round to the people of Mexico, I witnessed firsthand how well this fitness model translates internationally, and I anticipate a similar positive impact on the people of Colombia and Panama.”

9Round has more than 800 franchise locations open and operating across a total of 18 countries to-date, excluding the four additional countries where development plans are confirmed but locations are not yet open.
