Blink Fitness Opens Its Newest New Jersey Location In Plainfield

PLAINFIELD, N.J. – Blink Fitness, the premium-quality, value gym, announces the grand opening of its 71st location, in Plainfield, New Jersey. As a part of the Grand Opening celebration, Blink Fitness will donate 50 one-year memberships, worth over $10,000, to Angels for Action, an organization dedicated to working for justice and equality for oppressed, poor and victimized children and adults in the community. Additionally, Blink will be donating 50 one-year memberships to Homefirst Interfaith Housing and Family Services, an organization dedicated to delivering comprehensive solutions to homelessness through providing transitional, supportive and permanent housing, homeless prevention assistance and social services to strengthen families.

“We at Angels for Action are happy to welcome Blink Fitness to the Plainfield community and support the wellness that Blink Fitness brings,” said Angels for Action Co-Founder and President Carmen Salavarrieta. “We are appreciative of the opportunity to provide membership to not only just our volunteers that tirelessly work to empower and strengthen this community but to our hardworking students themselves who have been attending our ESL and other programs all in the name of self-learning and dedication.”

We are sure that Blink will help nurture a strong and healthy community,” Homefirst Acting Executive Director, Laurethea Kidd, “We are grateful to receive the membership donations and look forward providing them to our deserving families and staff.”

Attendees will have the chance to receive Blink Fitness branded gear, while one lucky attendee will win a one-year membership to the new gym. In addition, Angels for Action, Homefirst and Blink Fitness representatives will take part in a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open the gym to the public.

“We are excited to open our doors, bringing our Mood Above Muscle philosophy to the Plainfield community,” said Lindsey Westwood, Club Manager. “We’re sure that Blink will become a healthy, happy hub of activity in the neighborhood.”

The newest Blink Fitness facility will boast a broad offering of top-of-the-line strength equipment that includes free weights, plates, and machines for upper body, lower body, and core. Additionally, the facility will offer a wide variety of premium cardio machines and a multi-use space for additional exercises, stretching, and functional training.

Certified personal trainers will be available for those members who wish to create a custom workout experience tailored to their personal goals. As a gym that promises to provide a premium experience to all who join, memberships are available for as low as $15 per month with a free start up personal training session.
