USPTA Announces Multiyear Deal With Playmate Tennis Machines

ORLANDO, FL – The United States Professional Tennis Association announced it will enter into a three-year agreement with Playmate Tennis Machines. Under the terms of agreement, Playmate will become the official ball machine of the USPTA.

“Playmate has been a huge supporter of the USPTA’s educational programs at both the Divisional as well as the National Level for over 20 years now,” said President of Metaltek/Playmate Tennis Machines, Alfred F. Yarur. “We are so excited to be the Official Ball Machine of the USPTA!”

Playmate has also agreed to donate two Playmate iSMASH and one Playmate Ace Tennis Ball Machines to the USPTA Foundation over the three-year period of the deal. One of the Playmate iSMASH Tennis Ball Machines, which is valued at $5,175, will be a part of the Silent Auction during the USPTA Buying Show at the NEXT Generation: A Tennis Innovation Workshop powered by USTA & USPTA on Oct. 12.

“Playmate has long been an industry leader and loyal supporter of the USPTA and the USPTA Foundation,” said USPTA CEO John Embree, “We at the USPTA are extremely excited to welcome them as an official endorsee. We are looking forward to a long relationship.”
