LOS ANGELES, CA – Equinox, the high performance lifestyle leader, announced the opening of Equinox Hollywood, its 24th club in California and 84th club globally.
Located in the epicenter of Hollywood’s thriving cultural rebirth, Equinox Hollywood is emblematic of the area’s evolution from classic entertainment industry destination to high performance living community. An early adopter in the neighborhood’s ongoing resurgence, Equinox saw a significant opportunity to serve this particular area of Hollywood, as a new destination for its residents and neighboring communities.

The club itself was designed to complement its unique urban environment, drawing influences from the history and character of the neighborhood, while featuring the signature Equinox aesthetic and one-of-a-kind touches. Equinox Hollywood has an expansive single-level footprint with exposed, industrial features, including lofted ceilings, exquisite lighting design, four dramatic fitness studios, a three-lane interior pool as well as a dedicated plunge pool.
A permanent hand–painted installation by Brendan Monroe, a California-based visual artist, is on display throughout the club adorning three prominent walls, further fusing urban street culture with form and movement.
The group fitness Main Studio takes center stage, positioned centrally with stunning slate hardwood details. The Cycling Studio offers graduated, stadium style seating and is equipped to host The Pursuit by Equinox – an immersive cycling experience that integrates real-time data from your ride into a connected, motivating, game-like visual experience. The Yoga Studio features serene soft lighting and natural details, with wall mounted barres. A private Pilates Studio boasts a brand reformers and equipment and offers private sessions with expert Equinox Pilates trainers.
Acclaimed group fitness instructors will be joining the cast of stars leading a full range of yoga, barre, cycling and innovative classes such as The Cut, The Pursuit by Equinox, Precision Running, Best Abs Ever and will also be the first club to launch Equinox’s newest format, Pure Strength.
Equinox Hollywood’s fitness floor harnesses the power of open space to promote free multi-joint movement that mirrors our three dimensional, real–life bodies. Members can work out on their own or with one of Equinox’s highly skilled personal trainers.
