Concept2 and NSCA Foundation Continue Equipment Grant Programs

MORRISVILLE, VT – Concept2 announces the continuation of its partnership with the National Strength and Conditioning Association Foundation for a second year to support the tactical, first responder and military communities with Erg equipment grants.
The Concept2 Equipment Grant Program provides three different $5,000 equipment grants to military, law enforcement, and fire-service organizations across the United States, helping support the physical and mental health, performance, and readiness of tactical athletes and public service personnel.
During the inaugural year of the program in 2025, Concept2 proudly awarded $15,000 worth of equipment to organizations serving military personnel, law enforcement officers, and firefighters. Each recipient received a $5,000 Concept2 equipment budget to enhance training opportunities and support operational readiness within their communities.

Concept2 Armed Forces Equipment Grant: LoveJoy Army Reserve Center, Tampa, Florida
Concept2 Law Enforcement Equipment Grant: Orleans Niagara BOCES Educational Training Center, Buffalo, New York
Concept2 Fire Service Agency Equipment Grant: Janesville Fire Department, Janesville, Wisconsin

Like last year, the NSCA Foundation and Concept2 Equipment Grants will be the following:
- Concept2 Armed Forces Equipment Grant;
- Concept2 Law Enforcement Equipment Grant;
- Concept2 Fire Service Agency Equipment Grant.
Concept2 remains dedicated to supporting military units, law enforcement agencies, and fire-service organizations that often face budget constraints while maintaining demanding physical training requirements. Access to reliable fitness equipment helps these communities train effectively, improve performance, and maintain readiness for the challenges of their profession.
2026 Applications Open November 1
Applications for the 2026-2027 grant cycle will open on November 1 and will be accepted through February 15. If your military unit, law enforcement agency, or fire department is looking to expand its training resources, we encourage you to apply through the NSCA Foundation Equipment Grant Program. The application requirements are as follows:
Specific Requirements:
1. Application must be completed.
2. The applicant must be a member of the NSCA and show they are working with the specific tactical population of the grant applying for.
3. The applicant has not won this award previously.
4. United States based applicant.
5. The applicant is not a current member of the NSCA Foundation Board of Directors, Grant Committee, NSCA Board of Directors, NSCA/NSCA Affiliate employee or employee’s family member, or an employee or family member of Hammer Strength Life Fitness.
