DALLAS, TX – ABC Fitness announces a major expansion of its AI capabilities, positioning the company as the AI-powered operating infrastructure for the global fitness industry. Built on more than four decades of experience and data from over 40 million members, the initiative embeds intelligence directly into the technology systems gyms, studios and coaches rely on to run their businesses, from member acquisition and engagement to payments, retention and operational workflows.
Rather than introducing AI as a standalone feature, ABC Fitness is integrating intelligence across its platforms to automate repetitive tasks, increase payments recovery, surface actionable insights, and streamline operations, with personalization of the member experience at every connection point.
“AI will never replace the human connection at the heart of fitness,” said Bill Davis, CEO, ABC Fitness. “What it can do is remove the operational complexity that pulls operators away from their members. By embedding AI into the systems fitness businesses already use, we are helping operators spend less time behind a desk and more time building the relationships that drive improved retention and results as well as more personalized member experiences.”
Early adoption of AI capabilities across ABC Fitness’ customer base is strong. In 2025, ABC Fitness introduced the AI Churn Predictor and Intelligent Billing workflows, marking the next phase in its AI roadmap. Building on those capabilities, the company also launched the AI Workout Builder in limited release earlier this month. Already, more than 40% of workouts created by coaches using ABC Fitness are generated with the tool, enabling faster program design and more personalized training experiences.
An additional component of ABC Fitness’ AI strategy is an open AI platform for the fitness technology ecosystem so operators, developers, and partners can connect their own AI tools directly to ABC Fitness’ data and payment infrastructure providing flexibility and seamless integration.
“Operators and technology partners building on our platform will be able to deploy their own AI capabilities with the full depth of ABC Fitness’ data behind them,” said Finn Hegarty, Chief Product Officer at ABC Fitness. “That’s what makes this a platform strategy, not just a product update. We’re not only building AI tools — we’re opening the infrastructure so the entire fitness ecosystem can innovate on top of it.”
This strategy reflects ABC Fitness’ commitment to becoming a fully AI-enabled organization across product innovation, customer experience, and internal operations.
ABC Fitness will preview several of these capabilities at The HFA Show, March 16–18, 2026, including Intelligent Billing workflows and live demonstrations of upcoming AI agents. Visit the ABC Fitness booth at stall 2251 to learn more.
