HOUSTON, TX – Jonas Fitness, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise member management and billing software for medically integrated fitness facilities, health clubs and wellness organizations, announces a new partnership with the Medical Fitness Association (MFA). Under this agreement, Jonas Fitness will serve as the Trusted Technology Partner of the Medical Fitness Association, offering MFA members technology and operational expertise tailored to medically integrated fitness environments.
The Medical Fitness Association is a non-profit professional membership organization that serves medically integrated fitness centers through certifications, standards and education.
Medical fitness facilities bridge healthcare and fitness, where member experience, data accuracy, strong security and privacy, and efficient operations impact participation, safety, and outcomes. Through this partnership, Jonas Fitness will work with the MFA community to advance technology-driven membership management, reporting, billing, and digital engagement. These solutions reduce front-desk workload and help members stay engaged. The Jonas Fitness’ Compete Member Management Software includes security and data protection controls that meet the needs of healthcare-adjacent organizations and medically integrated programs.
“Medical fitness is outcomes-driven, and it requires technology that matches the complexity of medically integrated programs,” said Sandy Crutcher, president of Jonas Fitness. “Being recognized as the Trusted Technology Partner of the Medical Fitness Association highlights our commitment to this niche industry. We focus on providing MFA member facilities with the software, billing services, and data insights needed for efficient operations and a connected member experience. This allows staff to dedicate more time to supporting members and less time on administrative tasks.”
Technology Partner, Jonas Fitness and MFA will work together to share best practices and resources that help medically integrated facilities strengthen operations and modernize the member experience, including education on medical fitness technology, insights on reporting and analytics, and support for MFA events and initiatives.
“Our mission is to advance knowledge, networking, and influence in the medical fitness industry, and technology is now core infrastructure for that mission,” said David Flench, MBA, FACHE, FMFA, president and CEO of the Medical Fitness Association. “Technology is no longer a nice-to-have in medical fitness—it’s foundational to how facilities scale programs, support staff, and meet members where they are. Jonas Fitness brings deep experience in member management and engagement, and we’re excited to work together to help MFA members strengthen operations and elevate the experience in medically integrated settings, while maintaining our commitment to safety, security, standards, and measurable impact.”
“As chair of the Medical Fitness Association Board and director of Owensboro Health Healthpark, I see every day how the right technology supports safe, scalable medical programs,” said Collette Carter. “At Healthpark, our team uses Jonas Fitness’ Compete software to manage the entire member lifecycle and streamline operations, creating a seamless community experience. This partnership reinforces MFA’s commitment to connecting members with technology partners who understand medical fitness beyond traditional gym management. It will deliver practical technology support to facilities throughout our network.”
