CINCINNATI, OH – In 1998, Cincinnati Sports Club (CSC) developed a long-term, multiple phased master plan to grow with its members’ ever evolving lifestyles and enhance their overall Club experience. CSC is a “for profit” business and its local and private investors choose to reinvest in the club each year without assessing their members.

In 2013, this multi-year plan evolved into Club Vision 2025, a plan focused on the re-programming of existing space to better serve the members while taking advantage of available technology within the club industry without dehumanizing the member experience. Club Vision 2025 has continued to evolve, and in February 2018, CSC refined and added some additional components for consideration, reintroducing the plan as Club Vision 2025 v. 2.0.

The first phase of Vision 2025, completed in Fall 2013, involved improvements to the outdoor pool area – including an expanded pool deck, new rubberized mulch play area and large natural turf area. Also included was the newly completed outdoor fitness pavilion, which features a variety of equipment including dumbbells, racks, squat racks, functional stations with equipment and heavy ropes to provide an outdoor strength training experience.

Phase two, which began in April 2014, included construction of the new Group Exercise Room Suite, which features three group exercise rooms, a dedicated spinning room and a lounge where members may connect before and after class. Additional features included a bay of lockers, Wi-Fi and a towel drop. The indoor athletic field was also resurfaced with a natural grass looking surface that can be scrubbed and sanitized.

In Spring 2016, Cincinnati Sports Club added new, warm water indoor pool dedicated to lap swimming; water fitness classes and family swim time, along with additional private changing rooms.

Additional enhancements under consideration for Club Vision 2025 v. 2.0 were announced in February 2018. This phase, based largely upon current market trends, which will continue to evolve over the course of the next 7 years, also includes many components and priorities.

One of the next improvements on the horizon is a Community Work Space for members in the lobby. This space will provide a quieter environment that may be utilized for business purposes, including meetings and conference calls. The club check-in will also be enhanced with an automated check-in system, which will allow for better club circulation.

The club fitness floor will also be expanded in the future to accommodate more functional fitness activities, while the recreational gym will be relocated to a portion of the existing soccer field. The remainder of the soccer field will eventually be converted to a large multipurpose room, which may be used as both a gym ad a large meeting room.

A dog park is also under consideration, and CSC is currently reviewing multiple, possible locations on their expansive 15-acre grounds.

Future refinements for the Adult Only Outdoor Pool will include a hot tub and water wall features, which will be located in the green lawn area at the north end of the outdoor pool facility, next to the Adult Only deck.
