IHRSA Releases 2017 Profiles of Success

BOSTON, MA - The International Health, Racquet & Sportsclub Association (IHRSA) released its annual Industry Data Survey (IDS) results and the accompanying publication, IHRSA Profiles of Success. The report provides a detailed analysis of the annual performance of leading health and fitness clubs, including results in key metrics such as revenue, membership growth and retention, traffic, payroll, non-dues revenue, and EBITDA. 650 from 40 Countries Attend IHRSA European Congress

LONDON, ENGLAND and BOSTON, MA - A record-breaking 650 delegates came together in London for the 17th annual IHRSA European Congress, which concluded on October 26. IHRSA Announces Thunderclap Campaign to #PassPHIT

BOSTON, MA - To bring increased attention to PHIT, legislation that would make physical activity more affordable, IHRSA, the International Health, Racquet & Sportsclub Association recently launched a social media initiative to promote the #PassPHIT campaign. The goal of this campaign is to promote the benefits of passing PHIT, while generating more engagement from the industry, its members, and its customers in asking Congress to support the legislation. "We are reaching out to all corners of the industry to garner support with the hopes that this #PassPHIT message will reach tens of thousands of people across multiple social media platforms," said Meredith Poppler, IHRSA’s Vice President of Advocacy Communications & Leadership Engagement.
