When discussing this and the representative companies studied to write the book, it becomes clear that the overnight success is really an illusion as perceived by those on the outside looking in. But, inside, the one being defined as an overnight success has been clawing, fighting and grinding to achieve that success. In most cases, the overnight success is not over night.
