USTA Foundation Awards $60,000 in Scholarships to Youth Players

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - The USTA Foundation, the charitable arm of the USTA, has announced that Ivy Wilson of Jenks, Oklahoma, and Leena Bennetto of Vernon, British Columbia, have been named the 2021 Novo Nordisk Donnelly Scholarship national recipients, each receiving a $10,000 scholarship administered by the USTA Foundation. Wilson and Bennetto received their awards from Billie Jean King on September 2 when they joined the sports icon for a day of tennis at the U.S. Open. USTA Foundation’s 2021 Gala Raises Record-Breaking $2 Million

FLUSHING, N.Y. - The USTA Foundation, the charitable arm of the United States Tennis Association Incorporated (USTA), has announced it raised more than $2 million during its 2021 gala, a record-breaking night, after surpassing the $1.4 million raised in 2018. USTA Enters Agreement for U.S. Coach Access to ITF Academy

ORLANDO, FL - The USTA announces that it has entered into a Gold Membership Agreement with the International Tennis Federation (ITF), which will give U.S. certified coaches and teaching professionals access to the ITF Academy, the ITF’s official online education platform. USTA Names 2021 Outstanding Facility Award Recipients

ORLANDO, FL - The USTA has announced that 25 tennis facilities were named winners of the USTA’s annual Outstanding Facility Award, which recognizes excellence in the construction and/or renovation of tennis facilities throughout the country. To be considered for an award, facilities must be under the jurisdiction of a park and recreation department, an educational institution, a nonprofit corporation or be a private or commercially-owned-and-operated facility that offers both USTA and public programming designed to help grow tennis. USTA Foundation to Award Over $400,000 in College Scholarships

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - The USTA Foundation, the charitable arm of the United States Tennis Association Incorporated (USTA), announced that it has granted 46 high school students a variety of college scholarships totaling $435,000. WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - The USTA Foundation, the charitable arm of the United States Tennis Association Incorporated (USTA), has awarded grants totaling more than $1,070,000 to 105 National Junior Tennis & Learning chapters (NJTL) in 36 states and the District of Columbia. The grants are designated to support under-resourced youth through tennis and education programs designed to improve health, build character and strive for academic excellence.
