ENGLEWOOD, CO<\/strong> – VASA Fitness, a Great Place to Work-certified company, announces that current VASA Senior Vice President of Business Development Brett Schell has officially been promoted to Chief Financial Officer. Brett has 20 years of experience as a corporate finance executive building, leading and advising companies through significant periods of growth, complex strategic initiatives and capital market transactions. In his time at VASA, Brett has had proven success improving the finance and real estate development processes and building cross-functional relationships to drive operational results.<\/p>\n

In his role as CFO Brett will lead all of VASA\u2019s finance, accounting, and IT functions, along with business development initiatives including real estate and construction. He will be responsible for managing key stakeholder relationships, executing capital market transactions, supporting operational initiatives, and helping drive VASA\u2019s future growth. <\/p>\n

Prior to VASA, Brett was a Group CFO at Perspecta Incorporated where he led every aspect of finance, accounting and business development for a +$500m division. Previously, he was CFO of KeyPoint Government Solutions where he managed finance and accounting functions, in addition to capital market transactions, including a sale of the company. Brett also served as the senior vice president of consumer & retail investment banking at Jefferies & Co. A highlight of Brett\u2019s investment banking career was leading the Manchester United initial public offering in 2012.
