He has served the association for 11 years as CEO and Executive Director, capping off a 50-year career in the tennis industry.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cServing as CEO of the USPTA has been the most gratifying experience of my career,\u201d Embree said. \u201cWhen I started, my goal was to make a difference. The total focus has always been on our members, and I hope I\u2019ve helped in giving them the best possible experience with the USPTA.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The USPTA Board of Directors will follow its succession plan that includes hiring a search firm to help discover Embree\u2019s successor.
