TIMONIUM, MD<\/strong> – Planet Fitness, one of the nation\u2019s largest and fastest-growing franchisors and operators of fitness centers with more members than any other fitness brand, announces that its Gaithersburg club recently underwent $1.7 million worth of renovations.<\/p>\n

The 14,316-square-foot facility now features a new PF Black Card\u00ae Spa area with HydroMassage beds, massage chairs and tanning beds. Coming soon will be its latest amenity, the Recovery Lounge. To help members relieve pain, recover and improve circulation, the lounge offers a multi-sensory experience combining hot, cold and compression therapy to kickstart the recovery process.<\/p>\n

Additional improvements include new locker rooms, new cardio equipment, new entrance way tile and new rubber flooring on the upper level.<\/p>\n

Planet Fitness Gaithersburg originally opened in October 2010 and just completed nearly three months of renovations.
