Since 1998, the 365,000-square-foot facility has served as one of the most unique and comprehensive multi-purpose health and athletic facilities in the country. The acquisition includes RDV Athletic Club, RDV Ice Den and onsite office spaces.<\/p>\n \u201cIt has been our privilege to operate and manage RDV Sportsplex for the past 25 years. With over 35 years of experience in the health and fitness industry, the purchase of RDV Sportsplex increases its portfolio to three Florida locations and 61 locations across the USA.<\/p>\n Genesis Health Clubs Owner and President Rodney Steven II expressed the company\u2019s commitment to fitness in Florida. \u201cWhen we enter a new market, we like to go big, and the Sportsplex is definitely big! We\u2019re humbled to have the opportunity to take on such a fitness institution in Florida, and we can\u2019t wait for the members to see what we have in store.\u201d<\/p>\n Effective December 13th, RDV Sportsplex will be known as Genesis Heath Clubs \u2013 Orlando Sportsplex, and the ice center will be known as the Genesis Ice Den. The transition to Genesis allows all RDV Athletic Club members to continue membership seamlessly with no interruptions and no price increase.
