Also known as the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, or BIL, the act promotes active transportation, like walking and bicycling, which ACSM recognizes as healthier ways to get to a destination. <\/p>\n<p>The act also includes the Safe Routes to School program, intended to make it safer and easier for students to walk or bicycle to school.
