MINNEAPOLIS, MN<\/strong> – Wellbeats announces that Andrea Williamson has joined our team as Regional Sales Director.<\/p>\n This is a case when both employer and employee feel lucky. \u201cThe stars aligned,\u201d says Andrea with a smile. A seasoned industry executive, Andrea was most recently Director of Sales at an early-stage startup that has since dissolved. \u201cAfter that experience and with the impacts of COVID, I took a step back,\u201d she explains. \u201cI was looking for the right opportunity.\u201d<\/p>\n Previously, Andrea earned top sales performance status at Virta Health, where she brought the type 2 diabetes solution to the enterprise market. Earlier in her career, she served as Strategic Sales Manager at Weight Watchers Health Solutions (now WW), and Senior Account Executive at Healthways, where she was promoted to manage sales for the Dr. Dean Ornish Program for Reversing Heart Disease.<\/p>\n With 18 years of experience in strategic, solution selling, and a passion for the fitness industry, Andrea was introduced to Wellbeats through a former client turned friend who is now with Wellbeats. \u201cIt was one of those meetings where I walked into her office and two and half hours later we were the best of friends.\u201d Andrea experienced similar chemistry when she first met Sarah Ziemer, Wellbeats\u2019 Senior Vice President Corporate Sales.<\/p>\n \u201cCulture is really important to me,\u201d explains Andrea. \u201cIt was Wellbeats\u2019 leadership culture that drew me in.\u201d After meeting with several Wellbeats executives, Andrea was convinced that she had found \u201cthe right people, the right solution, and the right culture.\u201d<\/p>\n Andrea holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Texas A&M University where she studied English-Rhetoric. In her spare time, she can be found at one of her three boys\u2019 collegiate football or youth baseball games, playing tennis, lifting weights or teaching Power Vinyasa yoga.
