The always-open club offering sits on top of several of the IHRSA Global 25 charts. Anytime Fitness placed No. 1 in terms of \u201cNumber of Franchises,\u201d \u201cRevenue Growth,\u201d \u201cTop 10 Five-Year Revenue Growth,\u201d and \u201cTop 10 Five- Year Unit Growth.\u201d  Since its inception in 2002, Anytime Fitness has grown to nearly 3,000 units.<\/p>\n<p>Other noteworthy performers in 2014 include LA Fitness, Life Time Fitness, Planet Fitness and CrossFit, which each sit on top of an IHRSA Global 25 ranking. One newcomer to the IHRSA Global 25 listings is Fitness Time, which operates 100 facilities in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cClearly the bar has been raised for inclusion onto one of The IHRSA Global 25 rankings,\u201d comments Jay Ablondi, IHRSA\u2019s executive vice president of global products.
