BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y.<\/strong> and JEFFERSON VALLEY, N.Y.<\/strong> – Club Fit is proud to have been selected by Westfair Media as one of their 2020 Family-Owned Business Awards honorees! President, Bill Beck, and Vice President, Ellen Koelsch, were on-hand February 25th at the event ceremony in White Plains to accept. Bill and Ellen both have a passion for fitness; they enjoy active lifestyles and recognize the importance of physical activity to overall wellbeing.<\/p>\n Co-founded in 1973 by David Swope and Beth Beck, Club Fit was one of the first full-service health and fitness clubs in the region. As Beth and David continued to grow and improve the clubs, Beth\u2019s children \u2014 Bill and Ellen\u2014 were often at their sides. Sometimes greeting members at the reception desks, or helping maintain the tennis courts, they grew up learning firsthand the ins and outs of the business, as well as Beth\u2019s core values. Both inherited Beth\u2019s strong work ethic and attention to detail. Bill and Ellen maintain Beth\u2019s original values while continually looking for ways to keep improving the experience for Club Fit\u2019s members. And who better to understand the needs of families than another busy family?<\/p>\n It\u2019s not just about having expansive facilities stocked with the best equipment; it\u2019s about providing inspiration and encouragement to our members. We all know it\u2019s important to be active, but it can be difficult to find the motivation \u2014 and the time! We are here to help our members reach their personal fitness goals and live healthier lives.<\/p>\n Adding work\/school\/family commitments into the mix doesn\u2019t make it easier, which is why we provide so many options for busy families.
