SAN DIEGO, CA<\/strong> – The American Council on Exercise (ACE) announces the promotion of Jay Grant to the role of Executive Vice President of Marketing. Grant, promoted from his role as Interim Vice President of Marketing, has more than two decades of leadership experience, including extensive marketing management for GreatCall, which was acquired by Best Buy and CBS Interactive.<\/p>\n \u201cACE is thrilled to have Jay join the ACE team,\u201d said Scott Goudeseune, Chief Executive Officer of ACE. \u201cWith proven success in global customer acquisition and retention, Jay will play a central role in the development and execution of ACE\u2019s marketing strategies to further position ACE as an industry leader in educating, certifying and engaging exercise professionals and health coaches.\u201d <\/p>\n As the Executive Vice President of Marketing, Grant will oversee and drive ACE\u2019s marketing of certification and education products. He will be responsible for the global oversight of marketing strategy development, planning and management of the marketing function, market research, competitive analysis and sales support.<\/p>\n \u201cEvery day, more than 90,000 ACE Certified exercise professionals and health coaches help people live happier, healthier lives,\u201d says Grant. \u201cI am honored to guide the efforts that will grow the ACE family of certified professionals and provide the resources needed so they have an even greater impact.\u201d<\/p>\n Prior to joining to ACE, Grant led marketing and business development for multiple consulting firms, where his integrated marketing planning, execution and measurement resulted in new engagement records and multi-year sales growth. Grant completed his undergraduate studies at Colorado State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in marketing.
