LANCASTER, PA<\/strong> – Ecore, a manufacturer of safe, ergonomic and acoustic performance surfaces for commercial and athletic markets, announced that Mitch Schreiber has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer (COO) where he will be responsible for the overall efficiency and growth of the business, including all functions and satellite operations for the operating Unit.<\/p>\n In his new role, Schreiber will also lead the Operations, Sales, & Marketing teams\u2019 strategic direction in support of the overall company strategic plan and values while cultivating a positive company culture.<\/p>\n \u201cMitch has been an integral part of our team over the past decade, and his leadership has helped our company achieve continuous growth in his tenure,\u201d said Art Dodge, CEO and president of Ecore. \u201cOur company has a proven legacy in surface solutions. We look forward to continuing that tradition under Mitch\u2019s leadership and vision.\u201d<\/p>\n Schreiber has nearly 30 years of experience in operations and manufacturing. He previously served as the executive vice president of operations since 2010. Prior to his time at Ecore, Schreiber held leadership roles at ITT Industries in White Plains, N.Y. and Nomaco K-Flex in Raleigh, N.C. He is also APICS Certified in Supply Chain and a council member of the National Association of Manufacturers.<\/p>\n Schreiber earned his bachelor\u2019s degree in mechanical engineering from Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, Mich.
