The free event took place April 21st at OJ Watson Park, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.<\/p>\n<p>The partnership with Genesis Health Clubs\u2019 KidFit program, Wichita Parks &#038; Recreation and Tobacco Free Wichita featured fun, active programming for all ages, including \u201cAround the World \u2013 Sports of All Sorts,\u201d free kids\u2019 bikes and helmets (limited), yoga, healthy snacks, games, jump ropes, hula hoops, tobacco litter cleanup, special guests and more.<\/p>\n<p>Rodney Steven, a lifelong health and fitness enthusiast, expressed excitement about the event. \u201cWe\u2019ve known for a long time now how important it is for your health to exercise regularly and avoid smoking. Unfortunately, obesity, sedentary lifestyles and smoking are still all epidemics in this country.
