MIAMI, FL<\/strong> – Cycle for Survival, the movement to beat rare cancers, was named the Peer-to-Peer Professional Forum’s Program of the Year<\/em>. The award was presented at the annual Peer-to-Peer Professional Forum Conference in Miami.<\/p>\n Owned and operated by Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK), Cycle for Survival has been recognized as the fastest-growing athletic fundraiser in the United States for four consecutive years* by the national peer-to-peer fundraising support organization. Cycle for Survival has raised more than $170 million since it was founded in 2007, with $140 million raised in the past five years.<\/p>\n 100 percent of every dollar raised by Cycle for Survival funds groundbreaking rare cancer research and clinical trials led by MSK. Cycle for Survival’s indoor team cycling events are taking place in 16 cities across the country, with expert instructors from Equinox, Cycle for Survival’s founding partner, leading the rides.
