NASHVILLE, TN<\/strong> – The personal trainer is going virtual. A Nashville-based fitness tech company is poised to change the way people exercise with the launch of a new platform called GymCloud.<\/p>\n GymCloud.com has officially launched its online personal training software. The app enables fitness professionals to train clients online, making personal training more convenient and cost-effective for trainers and their clients alike.<\/p>\n Trainers can create custom workouts for clients, track their progress, and message them in real-time to offer coaching, encouragement, and accountability.<\/p>\n GymCloud was created by Kenton Boutwell, a Certified Personal Trainer and former gym owner who realized how hard it was for fitness professionals to make a sustainable income.<\/p>\n “Many trainers and studio owners don’t get paid vacation time. They don’t get sick leave. They’re barely scraping by,” said Boutwell.<\/p>\n Since GymCloud doesn’t require physical 1-on-1 interaction, trainers can take on more clients at lower prices.<\/p>\n GymCloud also makes personal training more affordable for consumers who may not have the funds for typical 1-on-1 training sessions, which often cost between $50 and $100 per hour. Consumers have access to customized workouts within the app that are accompanied by detailed how-to videos for individual exercises.<\/p>\n One trial user, a former Marine named Roy, lost 70 lbs. thanks to training provided through the app.<\/p>\n The Nashville GymCloud Team worked remotely with Roy, who lives in Los Angeles.
