CAMBRIDGESHIRE, ENGLAND<\/strong> – Global fitness equipment manufacturer Escape Fitness has secured a successful outcome in a patent dispute with ZIVA Fitness.<\/p>\n

ZIVA agreed to cease sale in the UK of its Dual Surface Plyo Box and paid an undisclosed sum after Escape alleged infringement of its patent relating to the Escape Plyosoft Box. The patent successfully asserted by Escape against Ziva protects Escape\u2019s proprietary system for securely and safely attaching plyo boxes together using fixing straps that stow securely when not in use.<\/p>\n

Escape Fitness Co-founder Matthew Januszek says: \u201cWe believe strongly in intellectual property and protecting it is something we take seriously.
