The event also featured powerful keynote speakers, more than 30 seminars and roundtable events for attendees, as well as naming of the 2016 Gold\u2019s Gym Award Recipients.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe term \u2018All In\u2019 has become our mantra here at Gold\u2019s Gym and has been driving every aspect of our business,\u201d said Brandon Bean, CEO of Gold\u2019s Gym.  \u201cWe\u2019re focused on leading both the brand and the industry into 2017 and beyond with innovation, expansion and optimization of our member journey through customer service and technology.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The pinnacle of the convention was during the final evening when the achievements of franchisees, vendors and a select group of Gold\u2019s Gym members were honored at the annual awards ceremony.  Highlights included the 2016 Gold\u2019s Gym Award Recipients:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>President\u2019s Award:<\/strong> Adam Ponzio, Gold\u2019s Gym Gwinnett, GA;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Franchisee of the Year:<\/strong> Casey Nielsen, Gold\u2019s Gym Northern UT;<\/li>\n<li><strong>U.S Visionary of the Year:<\/strong> Mike Epstein, Gold\u2019s Gym Paramus, NJ;<\/li>\n<li><strong>International Visionary of the Year:<\/strong> Francis Wanandi, Gold\u2019s Gym Indonesia;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Master Franchisee of the Year:<\/strong> Jagdish K. Valecha, Gold\u2019s Gym India.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Among the select Gold\u2019s Gym members who were recognized for their outstanding achievements were the 2016 Gold\u2019s Gym Challenge male and female overall winners, Todd McFarland and Renee Barnes. Overall male winner, Todd McFarland, of Hoschton, GA, lost 54 pounds, 26 percent body fat and 20 inches. Overall female winner, Renee Barnes, of Issaquah, WA, lost a total of 40 pounds, ten percent body fat and 30 inches.
