These appointments represent a significant professional achievement and underscore the trusted expertise of ACSM members at the highest level of sport.<\/p>\n<p>Among those selected are nine ACSM members who will serve on the Team USA medical staff, alongside additional ACSM members providing care and performance support for athletes representing other nations.<\/p>\n<p>ACSM members named to the USOPC Medical Staff for the 2026 Games:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Anthony Beutler, MD \u2013 Head Team Physician, Predazzo (Paralympic Games);<\/li>\n<li>Amber Donaldson, DPT, FACSM \u2013 Medical Director, USOPC *ACSM Board of Trustees member;<\/li>\n<li>Jim Doorley, PhD;<\/li>\n<li>Jonathan Finnoff, DO, FACSM \u2013 Chief Medical Officer, USOPC;<\/li>\n<li>Carrie Jaworski, MD, FACSM \u2013 Head Team Physician, Predazzo (Olympic Games) *ACSM President;<\/li>\n<li>Jordan Knowlton-Key, DC;<\/li>\n<li>Jeff Shilt, MD \u2013 Head Team Physician, Cortina (Paralympic Games);<\/li>\n<li>Lea Thomann, PT, ATC \u2013 Satellite Clinic Operations Lead (Olympic Games);<\/li>\n<li>Jennifer Watters, DC, LAc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>While a comprehensive international roster is not yet available, ACSM celebrates the global impact of its membership and the essential role these professionals play in protecting athlete health and optimizing performance at the world\u2019s most visible sporting event.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs ACSM Board President and one of Team USA\u2019s Head Team Physicians for the 2026 Olympic Games, I am deeply grateful to our members whose science, expertise, and commitment help Olympic and Paralympic athletes prepare to perform at their best on the world stage,\u201d said Carrie Jaworski, MD, FACSM. \u201cYour work reflects ACSM\u2019s purpose and vision: translating science into practice to elevate health, performance, and excellence for all.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Olympic and Paralympic Games serve as a crucial global platform for unity, bringing together thousands of athletes from over 200 nations to compete in peace, transcending political and cultural divides.
