INDIANAPOLIS, IN<\/strong> – The American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and the National Council on Strength and Fitness (NCSF) announce a strategic partnership aimed at expanding access to high-quality education for exercise professionals. Through this collaboration, ACSM will begin offering NCSF-developed continuing education programs to its certified professionals that will expand their learning and career advancement opportunities.<\/p>\n Both ACSM and NCSF are accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) and have a shared commitment to excellence, integrity and evidence-based practice in the health fitness industry. This partnership reflects a mutual dedication to supporting the growth and advancement of exercise professionals through accessible, high-quality educational resources.<\/p>\n \u201cThis partnership with NCSF supports our mission to advance the credibility and integrity of ACSM certified professionals through career-long development grounded in evidence-based practices,\u201d said Lauren Korzan, ACSM Certification Board chair. \u201cBy expanding access to high-quality specialty education, we\u2019re empowering ACSM professionals to extend and enrich lives through the power of movement.\u201d<\/p>\n The integration of NCSF\u2019s specialty courses into ACSM\u2019s educational offerings will begin this fall, with topics ranging from recovery to advanced program design.
