During his time as president and CEO of TaylorMade Golf, he took the company sales from $300 million to more than $1.7 billion. Most recently, as CEO of Taco Bell for five years, he led the brand to positive same-store sales growth in all but one quarter and accelerated its international growth.<\/p>\n<p>In a fireside chat on March 13 with HFA President &#038; CEO Liz Clark, which is being sponsored by Matrix Fitness, King will share his vision for transformation of the industry and the franchising model based on his past experiences.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs part of the evolution of our annual event, we are bringing to our audience insights from experts who have successfully led companies in other industries,\u201d Clark said. \u201cThe depth of experience that Mark possesses in driving business at big brands such as adidas North America, TaylorMade Golf, and Taco Bell before coming to Xponential gives him a unique perspective on leading change, operating in a state of constant innovation, and infusing a growth mindset into the culture of an organization.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>King will speak to transforming brands and an industry.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI believe the key to a successful transformation hinges on conveying your vision to the people you work with and securing their buy-in on that vision,\u201d King said. \u201cI see the fitness industry in the midst of a transformation, and I want to contribute to that transformation by sharing my vision and working to get the buy-in of those in the room.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>King\u2019s keynote address is one of three planned for the show, which the HFA renamed from the IHRSA Convention &#038; Trade Show to The HFA Show as part of the rebranding of IHRSA to Health &#038; Fitness Association.<\/p>\n<p>Register for The HFA Show 2025 by November 30, 2024, to get the best pricing on the event.
