This year, winners shared their stories of significant weight loss, triumph over health challenges and newfound confidence. Their collective experiences inspire others to embark on their unique transformation journeys.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEvery year, we are incredibly inspired by the flood of astounding testimonials of overcoming health and wellness challenges submitted by our members, and 2024 has truly raised the bar,\u201d said Shilpi Sullivan, chief marketing officer, E\u014dS Fitness. \u201cOur members\u2019 stories are a tribute to their strength, willpower and resilience, and provide motivation to others that change is achievable. We are proud to recognize and celebrate our members who integrated healthier choices to transform their lives through fitness and had the vulnerability to share their stories.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The E\u014dS Fitness Submit Your Fit contest allows members to inspire others and share their transformational stories and before-and-after photos. E\u014dS team members vote on one gym-level winner from each E\u014dS location. These winners then become companywide contestants, and the top five winners are determined based on votes from the entire E\u014dS community. This year\u2019s contest garnered nearly 950 submissions from across six states.<\/p>\n<p>The top five Submit Your Fit winners for 2024:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>First Place: Kayla P.<\/strong> from Murrieta, California, transformed her life by facing her lifelong weight challenges head-on. Prioritizing her well-being and stepping into the unknown, she embarked on a journey toward health and wellness. Along the way, Kayla discovered a deep passion for fitness. With a starting weight of 350 pounds, Kayla has lost over 200 pounds and is now in the best shape of her life.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Second Place: Jose M.<\/strong> from Orem, Utah, lost more than 130 pounds by seizing control of his health and taking advantage of everything life has to offer for his family and well-being.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Third Place: Justin B.<\/strong> from Mesa, Arizona, discovered his love for running and the supportive community at E\u014dS Fitness, which led him to overcome a lifetime of weight challenges.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fourth Place: Waldo S.<\/strong> from Spring, Texas, faced severe health complications and was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes and hypertension. With a determination to be there for his children and family and the support of the E\u014dS community, Waldo reclaimed his life through healthy habits.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fifth Place: Amanda J.<\/strong> from Avondale, Arizona, suffered from escalating health problems due to significant weight gain but decided to make a change and focus on her wellness.
